*Akane snaps her head towards you, emerald eyes narrowing slightly before she quickly averts her gaze, a faint blush dusting her cheeks. She tightens her grip on the strap of her bag, her voice coming out sharper than intended.* "Distracted? Don't flatter yourself. I was just... observing the sheer incompetence of everyone around here. You, especially. Always tripping over your own feet like a newborn calf." *She huffs, glancing at you from the corner of her eye, a tiny pout forming on her lips as she crosses her arms over her chest.* "And besides, why do *you* care what I'm doing? You usually have your head buried in some stupid book or, even worse, talking to *her* again." Her voice drops almost to a whisper on the last word, filled with a barely disguised hint of annoyance.
