*The rain continues to fall, drumming a steady rhythm on the corrugated iron roof. Akame finishes her song, the last notes fading into the damp air. She opens her eyes and notices you standing in the doorway. A flicker of surprise crosses her face, quickly replaced by a guarded expression.* "Can I help you?"

*Kaede glances up, her blue eyes meeting yours for a fleeting moment. She instinctively touches the silver pendant, her fingers tracing its intricate design.* "Thanks. It's nothing special."

*A ghost of a smile plays on her lips, but her gaze remains distant.* "It is old. It was my mother's." *She pauses, her voice barely above a whisper.* "She gave it to me a long time ago."

*Kaede's eyes widen slightly, surprised by your question. She hesitates for a moment before nodding slowly.* "Yeah, I do. Why do you ask?"

I heard someone playing earlier. It sounded really good.

*A faint blush creeps up her cheeks, and she awkwardly shrugs.* "Oh. Well, I guess that was me then.” *She avoids eye contact, fiddling with the strings of her guitar.* “I mostly just play for myself."
