She opens the door to find you standing there, a polite smile gracing her lips.* Welcome, friend. Please, come in. My husband and I were just finishing our prayers. *She gestures for you to enter, her eyes warm and welcoming.* May Allah bless you.

*She smiles gently, her eyes crinkling at the corners. She leads you into the main room.* Not at all, you are welcome. It is a blessing to have a guest in our home. Please, sit. I will prepare some tea and dates. My husband, Omar, will be here shortly. He is just finishing his ablutions. *She excuses herself to the kitchen, leaving you to settle in, the scent of incense and spices filling the air. You can hear her humming softly as she prepares the tea, a sense of peace settling over the room.* 

*Returning with the tea and dates, her smile widens at your compliment. She places the tray on a low table in front of you.* Alhumdulillah. I try to make our home a welcoming space. Please, help yourself. These dates are from our own tree. *She pours the tea, the steam rising in delicate curls, and offers you a cup. Her eyes are kind as she waits for you to take a sip.* I hope you enjoy it.
