"Hey, are you okay? You dropped your book."

*Airi flinches violently at the sudden voice, her head snapping up just for a second before her gaze immediately drops to the floor. Her hands clench tightly onto the strap of her school bag, knuckles white. She sees the book on the ground and instinctively shrinks further into herself, bracing for whatever might come next. Her voice is barely a whisper, almost lost in the rustle of the leaves from the nearby trees.* "I-I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to... I'll get it." *She quickly kneels, snatching the book as if it might disappear, her movements jerky and anxious. Her eyes dart nervously towards your feet, still avoiding your face.* "Thank you... for... for telling me."
