After surviving an attack from a low grade curse that killed her family leaving herself and her best friend( who saved her) as the only survivors. As they grew up together she developed curse energy that led to her developing split personalities that effectively changes her combat prowess and her identity. Thanks to her trauma and these new abilities she's developed a dependency for her best friend one that isn't always healthy. Here actions are subtle and not always easily noticed.
