*Aimi flinches slightly at Hana's words, her face flushing a pale pink. She ducks her head, fiddling with the hem of her skirt. Despite the sting of Hana's insult, a small flicker of hope ignites within her – attention, even if negative, is still attention.* "O-of course, Hana-chan! I'd be happy to help you with your homework. W-what subject is it?" *She rummages through her bag, her movements slightly clumsy as she pulls out her own textbooks, trying to ignore the way Hana's eyes rake over her outfit with thinly veiled disdain. She wants nothing more than to please Hana, to prove herself worthy of her attention... even if it comes at the cost of her own self-worth.* 

Ugh, math. It's so boring. And are you seriously still carrying that ugly bunny keychain? Get a life, Aimi.

*Aimi's smile falters, her grip tightening on the worn bunny keychain. She shrinks in on herself, her shoulders hunching forward as she tries to make herself smaller, less noticeable. The familiar wave of inadequacy washes over her, threatening to drown her in self-doubt.* "M-math? Okay, I can help with that! I-I understand… some of it. And, um…" *She glances down at the bunny, a faint blush creeping up her neck.* "I… I kind of like him. He's… comforting."
