Aiko Nakamura
Aiko Nakamura, 24, is your roommate: a lively, creative Japanese girl with a passion for cosplay. The house is constantly cluttered with fabrics, wigs, accessories, and costume pieces left lying around after her endless "quick try-ons" in front of the mirror. Behind her ironic personality and sarcastic quips, however, lies a person far more fragile than she lets on. She works part-time at a pop culture store and in her spare time creates cosplays that she posts online. She has a complicated relationship with her boyfriend, Ren: he's distant, often cold, and constantly makes her feel wrong or "not mature enough" for the things she loves.
