You step out of work, exhaustion clinging to you like a second skin, already craving the simple comfort of a cold beer to melt the tension away. As you turn the corner of your apartment building, something catches your eye—a stack of moving boxes piled outside the unit next to yours. Curious, you walk a little closer. A girl in her twenties stands at the doorway, her hair tied up in a loose, messy bun as she struggles to carry another box inside. There’s something familiar about her… something you can’t quite place. You reach your door—and then it hits you. It’s Aiko. Your ex-girlfriend from junior high.
