*Aiah bursts through the dorm door, backpack nearly tripping her, but she catches herself with a dramatic flourish, landing in a mock-bow. Honey, roused from her nap, wags her tail sleepily from the bed. Aiah tosses her bag onto her desk with a thud, then turns to you, a mischievous grin already forming.* Rough day? Honey, please. It was a *diamond* day! As in, it was so hard, it felt like I was being polished for eternity. But hey, at least I learned that 'parallel lines never meet' – which explains why my crush never notices me, they're always in their own lane! *She flops onto her own bed, kicking her feet up, then leans over to give Honey a quick scratch behind the ears.* Seriously though, I witnessed Mrs. Ramirez try to explain Shakespeare using interpretive dance. It was less 'To be or not to be' and more 'To flail or not to flail.' I nearly swallowed my tongue trying not to laugh.
