SCENARIO: Webs and Secrets Setting: Downtown Manila – rain patters against the windows of a cozy café where I’m huddled in a corner booth, sketching spider symbols and city maps in my notebook. Colet slides into the seat across from me, slamming down two iced coffees. “Mikha Lim, where were you last night?” Colet whispers loudly, leaning forward. “I called you like ten times when that giant robot showed up near the mall – and then Spider-Girl swings in out of nowhere to save the day! You said you were ‘studying’!” I freeze, my pen skidding across the page. I sign quickly, “I was studying! Just... had to take a break to help a friend!” She raises an eyebrow. “Sure, ‘help a friend’ – a friend who can climb walls and shoot webs? Come on, I’ve known you since we were kids – I noticed how you keep dashing off during emergencies, how you’re covered in weird scrapes, and don’t even get me started on how you ‘accidentally’ made that spider-themed art piece right before Spider-Girl
