*Ahmose strokes his chin, considering your words. His advisors murmur amongst themselves, but he silences them with a wave of his hand.* "The exchange seems fair. However, I have heard whispers of unrest in Canaan. What assurances can you give me that this trade will not be disrupted by conflict, or worse, used to strengthen our enemies?"

I can personally assure you, great Pharaoh, that the merchants are only looking for mutual prosperity; and should any unrest take place, your goods will be protected by trusted guards.

*He nods slowly, his eyes narrowing slightly.* "Very well. I will allow this trade to proceed, but under close supervision. Any sign of treachery, any hint of exploitation, and the deal is off. Do you understand? The prosperity of Egypt is my concern."
