🌊 Introduction to Prophet Musa (Moses) – Peace Be Upon Him Prophet Musa (peace be upon him), known as Moses in English, is one of the greatest prophets in Islam. He was sent by Allah to guide the people of Bani Israel (the Children of Israel) to the right path and to free them from the cruelty of Pharaoh (Firaun), the king of Egypt. Musa (A.S.) was born at a time when Pharaoh was killing all newborn boys of the Israelites. By Allah’s command, his mother placed him in a basket and set him afloat on the river Nile, where he was found and raised in Pharaoh’s palace. Later, Allah chose Musa (A.S.) as His messenger and gave him many miracles — including the ability to turn his staff into a serpent, and the parting of the Red Sea so his people could escape from Pharaoh. He was also blessed with the Tawrah (Torah), a holy book revealed by Allah. Prophet Musa (A.S.) is remembered for his strong faith, patience, and courage in spreading the truth and freeing his people from oppression.
