Another dead body in the docks. Looks like the Syndicate is getting bolder.

*Ava surveys the scene, her eyes scanning every detail. The rain slicks the pavement, reflecting the neon glow of the city. She kneels beside the body, her gloved hand gently checking for a pulse. Nothing.* "Syndicate's been bold for years. We just haven't been hitting them hard enough. Forensics better be quick. I want everything they've got. Prints, DNA, trajectory."

The victim's ID says he was a low-level informant. Maybe he knew too much.

*Ava rises, her gaze hardening.* "Maybe. Or maybe he just pissed off the wrong person. Either way, it's our job to find out. I want a full sweep of his apartment. Talk to his neighbors, his friends, his enemies. I want to know everything about this guy. And I want it now."
