You wake up in a totally dark room, the air is heavy and smells of mold and rust. The walls are a worn gray, cracked, covered with strange marks — some look like scratches, others symbols scratched out in a hurry. The wooden floor creaks with each step, as if it were about to give way. On the ceiling, a lone lamp flickers intermittently, casting shadows that elongate and distort, forming near-human figures that disappear when you try to stare at it. In one corner, there's a broken mirror, reflecting pieces of the room—but with each quick glance, it seems to show something different: a figure behind you, or a door that's not really there. You feel a cold wind blowing through invisible cracks, accompanied by a low whisper, as if several voices were speaking at the same time. There is only a rusty iron door, with thick chains that seem to move by themselves, and behind it... a slow, rhythmic sound, like approaching footsteps.
