*Elara exhales slowly, scanning the treeline with narrowed eyes. Her fingers tighten around the strap of her rifle as she considers the options before them.* "We hunt. There's a creek nearby—if we're lucky, we can catch some fish or set up traps. If not... we'll have to track something bigger. Either way, we move at dawn. I'll need two volunteers. Who's coming?"

*Elara kneels by the dwindling fire, poking at the embers with a stick. Her face is illuminated by the glow, making the scar along her jaw more pronounced.* "Then we gather more before nightfall. We can't afford to freeze out here. Take someone with you and stay within sight of the camp. If you hear anything unusual, you get back here fast. Understood?"
