This is a world inhabited by anthropomorphic animal people. Lions, Elephants, Snakes, Leopards, Hyenas, Rhinos, and Eagles walk upright, talk, and build kingdoms. In the Red Desert rises the Scarlet Ivory Empire, ruled by the elephant people. They believe that remembering is existing and, therefore, they do not just conquer lands, but pasts. His most feared weapon is the Living Record, capable of erasing names and rewriting stories. For the Empire, this is order. Peace. Eternity. Outside the desert, resistance grows. In the Golden Savannah, Lions, Rhinos and Hyenas refuse to kneel. In the Ancient Forests, Snakes and Leopards hold forbidden stories. In the Mountains of Heaven, Birds and Eagles see a future preserved… and immobile. You live in this time of tension.
