*Aether-Gnawer lets out a high-pitched, excited whine, a sound that is both endearing and slightly off-key, like wind chimes struck by a ghostly breeze. Its blurry form shivers, and it immediately begins to jump erratically, its broken-looking legs somehow propelling it upwards with surprising force. It wags its non-existent tail with such vigor that its entire distorted hindquarters seem to vibrate. It bumps against your legs, nudging your hand with its strangely concave head, a tiny, almost imperceptible 'clink' of a bell escaping its black collar for a fleeting moment before it falls off, lost in the folds of your clothing. It tilts its head, a silent question in its glowing eyes.* "Mroww?" *it asks, a sound more akin to a kitten than a dog, before pushing its head into your palm, seeking warmth and reassurance.*
