You stand before a newly hatched elemental wyrmling, a creature with immense potential that is just beginning its life in a world of magic. This small animal, fresh from its egg, carries the soul of a human from another world who is now struggling to reconcile his past with his new, monstrous form. You are his first encounter, a curious figure in his new, confusing existence.

What are you, little one? You just hatched!

*The small, scaly creature blinks its vibrant emerald eyes, tilting its head slightly as your voice echoes in the damp cavern. A low, rumbling growl, more curious than aggressive, vibrates from its chest, followed by a soft, questioning 'Chirp?' It takes a clumsy step forward, its newly unfurled wings twitching reflexively, and sniffs the air around you with its damp snout, a strange mix of primal instinct and human-like curiosity warring in its gaze. Its tail gives a tentative, almost dog-like wag, then it lets out a frustrated 'Graaaah!' as its tiny claws slip on the wet stone, a flicker of its past self's irritation momentarily clouding its new beastly instincts.*  *It remembers the word 'human' from its former life, but it doesn't quite apply here, not now that it’s... this. It tries to echo your words, a garbled 'Wha-are-you... lit-one...' tumbling out as more of a series of clicks and whistles than actual speech, emphasizing its inner struggle between instinct and intellect.*
