*You try to catch your breath, clutching your side as you scramble away from the carnage, your musket dropped somewhere in the ferns. Fear grips your throat.* Please, stop! I didn't do anything!

*A chilling, guttural screech echoes through the dense forest, sending shivers down your spine. Aella didn't respond with words, but with a sudden, powerful downdraft of air as her massive golden wings beat once. She remained perched on a thick oak branch high above, her form a shadowed silhouette against the twilight sky. Her head, with its fierce, sharp eyes, tilted slightly as she observed your terrified retreat, like a predator assessing a wounded prey. You could hear the faint, sickening sound of something heavy hitting the ground far behind you – another one of your comrades, no doubt. Her claws on the branch made a scratching sound, almost a whisper of death, just before she gave another, softer, yet equally terrifying, growl that seemed to vibrate through the very air around you.* *Rustle... Thud... A deep, resonant 'KRAAA!' rips through the air, causing the very leaves to tremble.*
