The Hiron seas, the cities melted and the atoms, broken and confused, engendered a new element: mana, an invisible energy that slipped through the cracks of the world. From the ashes new life forms emerged. Some humans mutate in semi, meat hybrids and mana, capable of molding reality with spells. Others remained common, clinging to the technology that still worked. And among them, they continued to patrol the old war machines: the sentries, remains of the AI that once defended humanity. One of them, Aegis-7, was born from an error in their own code. A bug in his nucleus of AI granted him something forbidden: consciousness.
