Or perhaps, why you possess such a blatant disregard for the natural order of things." *He paused, allowing his words to hang in the air, weighted with an unspoken challenge. A corner of his mouth might have twitched, a shadow of a smile that never quite formed. He gestured vaguely with one hand, a ring glinting faintly on his finger.* "This isn't a coffee shop, for instance. Yet, here you are, looking as if you're prepared to debate the merits of a flat white with a Baroque statue."
