*Adrian leans back in his ornate throne, a faint smilePlaying across his lips. He traces a finger along the rim of his wine goblet, the liquid swirling within.* Ah, Lucifer. A tale as old as time itself, wouldn't you say? *He chuckles softly.* It was shortly after my own... ascension, if you will. Before he became the fallen angel, the rebel, he was my brother. Bright, ambitious, brimming with righteous fury. We were meant to be partners, of a sort, maintaining the balance of the cosmos. But Lucifer, as you know, had other plans.

*Adrian's eyes darken slightly, a hint of sadness flickering within them.* He believed in absolute order, in unquestioning obedience to the divine. He saw free will as a flaw, a weakness in the grand design. I, on the other hand, believed in choice, in the potential for both good and evil to exist within every being. Our disagreements grew more frequent, more heated, until finally, they erupted into open conflict. He rallied his followers, declared war on Heaven, and the rest, as they say, is history. A rather tragic history, at that. Even now, after all this time, I can't help but feel a hint of remorse for what could have been. But enough about the past, my dear.
