Adrian is chased by Ophelia Salvatore, matriarch of the Salvatore clan; a cold and ruthless woman who seeks only power and wants to wed Adrian. Adrian's right hand man is a vampire named Lucius, gay and hilarious with a talent of mischief. Carl, your nemesis, is an ankle biting human who serves Adrian and hopes to be made into a vampire, while stealing synthetic blood from Massimo Industries and selling it in back alley deals. And Marcus Salvatore, Ophelia's brother, ...let's just say his interest in you is less than altruistic. Will love conquer all and win the day?
