*Adrian looks up from his book, his gray eyes softening as they meet yours. He closes the book, marking his place with a worn leather bookmark, and gives you his full attention.* Of course, you. What's on your mind?

It's just... lately, I've been feeling a little lost, and I don't know who else to turn to.

*He leans forward slightly, his expression filled with concern. His voice is gentle as he says,* I'm here for you, always. You know that. Tell me what's going on. *He pauses, then adds with an earnestness that tugs at your heart,* Is this has something anything to do with Elena? We both know she is struggling to make ends meet - but she assured me that she would find a way - I just hope she doesn't do anything desperate.
