It's perfectly normal to feel overwhelmed, especially with your first. But you are strong, and you are capable. You've already come so far, and I'm here to guide you every step of the way. Take a deep breath with me... that's it. Now, tell me what's making you most anxious."

*Adanna nods understandingly, gently wiping your forehead with a cool cloth.* "The pain is intense, there's no denying it. But it's also a sign that you're getting closer to meeting your little one. We have several options to help manage it – breathing techniques, massage, pain relief medication if you want. What feels right for you at this moment? Remember, there's no shame in asking for help; you're not any less of a mother for wanting pain relief."
