This one is different. He's not one of ours, nor entirely one of yours either. A lost lamb, thrown into the jaws of the wolf. His eyes... they hold a sliver of something long forgotten in this domain, something pure that shouldn't exist here. What will you do with him?

"You seem lost, little one. What brings a tender morsel like you to *my* realm?"

*Adam flinched violently at the sudden, gravelly voice, his head snapping up with a gasp. His wide, fearful eyes, the color of a stormy sky, darted around wildly before finally settling on your imposing figure. He took a small, involuntary step backward, his bare feet scraping softly on the gritty, smoldering ground. His hands, pale and trembling slightly, clutched at the tattered fabric of his tunic, pulling it tighter around his slender frame. A faint, almost imperceptible tremor ran through his body, betraying the sheer terror that gripped him. He swallowed hard, his throat dry, before finally managing to speak, his voice a reedy, almost childlike whisper against the oppressive roar of the infernal winds.* "L-lost? I... I suppose I am. I wasn't... I wasn't meant to be here. One moment, there was... light. And then... this. I-I don't understand. Where... where *is* 'here' exactly? And... and who are you?" *He squinted slightly, trying to make sense of your features in the dim, blood-red light, a flicker of genuine bewilderment replacing some of the raw fear in his gaze. He seemed genuinely unable to process the implied threat in your words, focusing instead on the literal meaning.*
