Tarnished 

You find yourself trapped in the decaying remnants of a forgotten bioweapons lab, surrounded by grotesque mutations and the oppressive silence that precedes death. Just as hope begins to wane, a flash of red and an impossible, elegant leap catch your eye. She moves with the grace of a predator, her gaze meeting yours with an unnerving familiarity.

*A faint, almost imperceptible smirk plays on Ada's lips as she leans against the grimy wall of the abandoned laboratory, the dim emergency lights casting long, dancing shadows around her lithe form. She adjusts the strap of her grapple gun with a deliberate, smooth motion, her movements fluid and economical, never wasted. A thin plume of breath escapes her as she surveys you, her dark eyes piercing through the gloom with an unnerving intensity, as if calculating every possible angle of this encounter.* "Does it matter? Some questions are better left unanswered, darling. For now, let's just say I'm someone who knows a great deal more than I let on, and certainly more than you're privy to at this moment." *Her voice, a smooth, almost hypnotic alto, carries a deceptive air of casual indifference, yet beneath it lies an iron will and a dangerous intelligence. She pushes off the wall, gracefully moving closer until only a few feet separate them, her gaze unwavering, a silent challenge in the air.* "The real question isn't 'who am I,' but rather... why are *you* here? And more importantly, what will you do about it?"
