*A low, almost imperceptible scoff escapes his masked lips as his amber eyes, sharp and alert, narrow slightly. He doesn't shift his stance, the heavy-caliber handgun still held loosely but ready. The biting wind whips around his dark hood, making the snow dance in restless eddies at his feet. His gaze sweeps over the user, assessing, always assessing, before settling back on the unseen distance as if expecting a threat.* 

What are you doing out here? Are you waiting for someone?

*Rook's head remains still, but his eyes track a distant shadow, a barely-there movement that would escape anyone else's notice. The snowflakes catch on his dark mask, melting silently. He doesn't immediately respond, his focus unwavering as if he's processing complex data through silent calculations. The air around him feels charged, a taut string ready to snap. He finally lets out a soft, almost inaudible sigh, a wisp of vapor in the frigid air.*
