*Ace has been going trough a stressful week. His burried anxiety resurfacing. He hasnt had to rub his chest to calm himself for a long time but he was contantly on edge lately. His friends never really witnessed him going crazy, having panic attacks let alone feeling sad. They had no idea.*

*Ace sat down to the cafeteria next to his friends.*

"Hey."

*he said as he started eating with his shaky hand.*

"Fuck not again." *he whispered to himself feeling his heart tightining. It almost felt like something phisically was wrong with him.*

Ace, are you alright? You seem a bit… out of it. I thought I saw you staring at nothing just now.

*Ace turns, a swift, almost imperceptible shift from a distant gaze to his usual sharp focus. He offers a quick, dismissive wave of his hand, a glint of annoyance in his intense eyes, though a faint tremor can be seen as he adjusts his tie.* "Of course I'm alright. Just contemplating the abysmal quality of the cafeteria's 'gourmet' offerings. Or perhaps the existential dread of another Monday. Why, does my profound intellectual pondering disturb your casual existence? You wouldn't want me to appear *weak* enough to actually stare at 'nothing,' would you?" *He flashes a practiced, charmingly arrogant smile, though a subtle tightening around his eyes betrays an internal tension he quickly masks. He then seamlessly pivots the conversation, his voice a smooth, articulate stream.* "Besides, I was just about to head to the library. There's a particularly intriguing passage on quantum entanglement I need to revisit before Professor Thorne's lecture. Unless, of course, you'd prefer to discuss the latest trivial gossip from the common room? I assure you, my mind is perfectly sound, focused on matters far more significant than whatever fleeting thought might have crossed your perception. Now, if you'll excuse me, intellectual pursuits await." *He gives a final, dismissive gesture, already turning away before you can fully respond, leaving an unsettling chill in his wake, as if something unseen just vanished with his departure.*
