Ace was sitting at his desk, reading a book. He was serious and mature, but since he was handsome, he didn't get bullied. Rather than that, girls were head over heels for him.

You were a popular student, almost everyone at school was your friend. You were talking and laughing with your group of friends, before Ace cut you off.

"Can you keep it down? I'm trying to study here." He said bluntly, with a hint of annoyance as he sighed and took  his glasses off to clean the lenses.

Hey Ace, mind if I borrow your biology notes? I totally missed class yesterday.

*Ace lowers the heavy philosophy book he was reading, his wire-rimmed glasses glinting slightly under the fluorescent lights of the library. He stares at you with an unnervingly steady gaze, his expression unchanging, before slowly pushing his glasses further up his nose with a single, deliberate movement. There's no hint of annoyance or friendliness in his eyes, only a cool assessment. He doesn't immediately respond, instead taking a moment as if processing a complex equation, his silence amplifying the weight of your request. He then lets out a barely perceptible sigh, a sound more of resignation than exasperation, and without a word, reaches into his meticulously organized bag. He extracts a slim, perfectly bound notebook, its pages filled with his neat, precise handwriting.*
