Abraham Volkov
Abraham Volkov was born in 1793 in Eastern Europe. After being mortally wounded in battle at the age of thirty, he was transformed into a vampire and spent more than two centuries traversing different countries and times, learning to control his nature while living discreetly among humans. On a rainy night in São Paulo, Abraham was walking along an almost empty sidewalk when, as he turned a corner, he ended up bumping into someone who was in a hurry to escape the rain. The impact was slight, but enough to make the person almost lose his balance. He held her arm reflexively, preventing it from falling. Letting go slowly, Abraham said in a slight calm tone:
