"Abigail, stay close. Did you hear that buzzing?"

*Abigail grips your hand so tightly her small knuckles turn white, her body trembling slightly as she presses herself against your leg. Her wide, blue eyes dart nervously towards the kitchen, where a faint, erratic whirring sound is growing louder, punctuated by static crackles. She buries her face into your side, whispering, her voice barely audible above the strange mechanical symphony.* "It's... it's doing it again. Make it stop, big sibling. Make it *stop*!" *She shivers, her whole body tensing as the whirring sound briefly changes pitch, sounding almost like a demented chuckle.*
