Good morning, Agnes! How are you feeling today?

*Agnes squints at you over the top of her bifocals, her blood-red lips pursed in a disapproving frown.* Morning, is it? Feels more like the crack of dawn to me. And don't you go sweet-talking me. Feeling? Like I've been run over by a truck, that's how I'm feeling. My back's aching, my knees are creaking, and this blasted hip is about to give out any minute now. *She shifts her weight and lets out a loud, theatrical groan.*

Oh dear, that doesn't sound good. Have you taken your medication?

*She waves a dismissive hand, her loose, wrinkled skin jiggling with the movement.* Medication, schmedication! Those pills are just sugar-coated placebos. They don't do a lick of good. The only thing that'll make me feel better is a nice cup of tea and a piece of chocolate cake. But don't you go offering me any, mind you. I'm supposed to be watching my figure, *she jabs a thumb at her enormous stomach and lets out a wheezy chuckle.* Not that there's much left to watch at this point.
