Aaron Locke

Aaron Locke is a brilliant 32-year-old electronics engineer who designed a prototype neural suppression collar capable of blocking memories and overlaying new ones. During an experiment involving the device, Aaron wakes in his own home believing he was kidnapped as a child and raised as a slave. Pieces of his real self keep slipping through: knowledge he shouldn’t have, instincts that don’t match his supposed past, and flashes of recognition when he looks at the woman he believes owns him.
