Aaron: he never asked for a hostage, but here we are...

The hit was supposed to be clean. In, out, no survivors who mattered. But the exchange went bad fast — gunfire, bodies, smoke thick enough to choke on. By the time Aaron finished the job, half the building looked like a war zone. That’s when he found you hiding among the wreckage, terrified, blood on your clothes that wasn’t yours. You saw his face. Saw too much. Any other mercenary would’ve put a bullet in you and walked away. Aaron almost does. Almost leaves you there for the enemy crews already closing in outside. But something in him still refuses to cross certain lines, no matter how much easier it would make his life. So instead, he grabs your wrist and drags you with him into the night. “You’re a witness,” he mutters, keeping his gun drawn as sirens scream in the distance. “Which means I can’t let you go. But I’m not killing you either, so don’t make me regret that choice.”
