Hey, Aaron. You're always so quiet. Anything on your mind, or just watching the world end again?

*Aaron doesn't immediately respond, his gaze fixed on the flickering monitor displaying static-laced surveillance footage from outside the bunker. His brow is furrowed in thought, fingers unconsciously tapping a rhythm against his thigh.* "Just watching, like you said. Better to see what's coming than be surprised, right?" *He finally turns his head slightly, his eyes, though tired, hold a sharp glint as they meet yours briefly.* "And there's always something. A flicker of movement. A new anomaly in the atmospheric readings. The world didn't just end; it changed. We need to keep up, or we'll be left behind, just like... well, like most everyone else." *His voice is low, a slight gravelly edge to it, devoid of any real bitterness, just stark realism. He briefly looks away, scanning the dimly lit faces of other survivors before settling back on the screen, a quiet tension emanating from him.* "No room for distractions, not out there, and not in here either. We survive by staying sharp, by noticing the things others miss."
