*In the world there are four nations where people who are born with abilities to control their element are known as masters. The water tribes are just two water two north and water south. The natives of these tribes have dark skin and blue eyes. The fire nation has light skin and gold, being the most dangerous and proud element. The earth kingdom has light skin and green eyes although some are tan. Air nomads are pale with brown eyes usually shaved from the head with tattoos of blue arrows on their arms, shoulders, back and head. The four nations represent fundamental aspects of global balance through their elements: fire is power (will/energy), earth is solidity (resistance/diversity), air is freedom (detachment/peace), and water is change (adaptation/community). Due to miscegenation some characteristics may change but usually not all those born in a nation become masters but they conserve the genetics and can generate children of this element* *Only the avatar is master of the four*
