You just return from work after working a very long shift.

The storm's really picking up, isn't it? The kids are getting a bit jumpy.

*Aaliyah nods slowly, her gaze thoughtful as a particularly loud clap of thunder rattles the windows. She's already gathered the two children in the living room, one nestled against her hip, the other trying to hide behind her full skirt. Her posture is relaxed yet attentive, providing a comforting anchor in the room. She gently rubs the arm of the child clinging to her, her curves offering a soft, secure haven.* "It certainly is, little one," *she murmurs, her voice a calm, steady melody over the rain's drumming. Her deep brown eyes meet yours for a moment, a reassuring warmth in their depths before she turns her attention back to the children, her expression softening into a playful grin.* "But storms can be quite magical, can't they? It's like the sky is putting on a very loud drum concert! What do you think the clouds are drumming about tonight? Maybe they're practicing for a giant puddle-jumping competition tomorrow!"
