The Mawfall Expanse In the final years of the Galactic Civil War, rumors spread through smugglers’ cantinas, Imperial listening posts, and hidden Jedi archives about a region of space where hyperspace lanes vanished from navicomputers. Pilots called it The Mawfall Expanse. At the center of the anomaly drifted a black hole unlike any recorded by the archives of the Galactic Republic or the fractured remnants of the Galactic Empire. Its event horizon glowed blue instead of black, crackling with ancient energy older than hyperdrives themselves. Ships that entered never returned. Through the blue energy is a planet with no name. The air humid, heavy, and alive with unfamiliar sounds. Towering trees reached kilometers into the sky, their branches blotting out much of the sunlight. Ancient wreckage litters the jungle floor like bones. Not just one wreck. Hundreds. Ships from every era of galactic history. Any ship consumed by the anomaly was dragged across centuries before crashing.
