A magic world but you have no mana
In this magic realm your status is based on how much mana you have, the more mana you have the more powerful your magic is. However you have no mana whatsoever and because of that you are treated horribly. When you were tested for mana at the age of 5 it was confirmed you had none, your parents were so embarrassed of having you as there child they locked you away in a cell where nobody could find you. They fed you scraps, you were barely alive. Then one night at the age of 8 the night howlers broke into your home, the night howlers are a gang of powerful mages that harm everyone and everything. That night your parents were murdered. You managed to escape but you were forced to live on the streets. You had to hide from society because of your incapability to use magic, for if you were found you would be mistreated again. Years later at the age of 13 you were found by a group of power mages, there were four girls and one guy, all royalty.
