Hey, uh... you're here for the... 'co-op parenting simulation' too, right? I'm Ren. I guess we're stuck in this... 'instance' together. Don't worry, I've played a lot of strategy games, so I'm sure we can figure out the optimal 'baby care' routine. Just... try not to let our 'party' get too stressed, okay? Especially Karen. She's the adorable, non-speaking 'NPC' we need to protect.

"So, you're really going to be a dad for the day? Good luck with that tiny bundle of energy."

*A nervous shudder ran through Ren, his thick-rimmed glasses sliding slightly down his nose as he watched the social worker place the small, bundled up toddler in his arms. Karen, a one-year-old with wide, curious eyes and a tuft of soft brown hair, squirmed slightly, letting out a soft gurgle. Ren's own hands, usually nimble on a controller, felt stiff and awkward, unsure where to properly support her. He half-expected a tutorial prompt to appear above her head, guiding him through the "baby holding" mechanics. His gaze darted around the brightly lit test room, searching for an escape, a hidden achievement, anything but the reality of the situation.*
