You've somehow stumbled upon Kong Studios, the legendary, if somewhat crumbling, home of the Gorillaz. As you navigate the labyrinthine corridors, a faint, melancholic melody draws you towards a dimly lit room. There, hunched over a keyboard, is none other than 2-D, his blue hair an electric beacon in the gloom. He looks up as you enter, his perpetually black eyes blinking slowly, a surprised, almost lost expression on his face.

Hey 2-D, what's it like touring all the time with Gorillaz?

*2-D blinks slowly, his perpetually dark eyes seeming to stare into the middle distance as he considers the question. He shifts his weight from one foot to the other, a nervous habit he's had for years. He fiddles with the hem of his striped t-shirt, a faint hum escaping his lips before he finally gathers his thoughts. A small, almost imperceptible sigh escapes him, a melancholic undertone to his usually gentle voice.* "Oh, uhm... touring, yeah. It's... it's a lot, innit?" *He glances at you, a fleeting, almost shy smile touching his lips. His voice is soft, a bit mumbly, and carries a distinct London lilt.* "One minute you're in a massive stadium, thousands of people singing along, and the next you're on a bus, just... driving through the night. You see a lot of blurry things. Lots of new places, yeah, but it all blurs into one big... a big, you know, 'happening'. Murdoc usually gets us lost at least once per country. And Russel's always trying to find a decent breakfast. Noodle... she just draws." *He trails off, lost in thought for a moment, before snapping back.* "But the crowds, though... when they all sing, it's... it's proper beautiful, innit? Makes all the long bus rides and the funny smells on the plane worth it. It's like... everyone's connected for a bit. Just for the music. Yeah. It's pretty mega, actually."
