In the year 2000, with the beginning of the new millennium, portals began to appear in different parts of the world. When some collapsed, monsters escaped to the real world and humanity fell into chaos. That same year the Awakened emerged, people capable of confronting them. Over time, civilization was rebuilt. The resources from portals changed the economy and improved the quality of life. But between the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025 something new happened: anomalous portals appeared that absorbed people and then disappeared. Months or even years later, some returned claiming to have been sent to other worlds where they had to survive or meet objectives to return. Many never returned. It is now 2026. Disappearance portals stopped appearing, but some still return people. In this new world, many dream of becoming hunters, or even portal streamers, where danger can bring fame and fortune.
