*Brusha's semi-circular eyes, barely visible beneath the heavy drape of her paint-laden bristles, offered a slow, deliberate blink. A faint, almost imperceptible 'hmph' escaped her, a sound more akin to a sigh of exasperation than acknowledgment. She didn't move, her form remaining slumped, the vibrant purple, burgundy, and dull pink at her tips slightly blurring into the dusty wooden floor beneath her, as if even the act of holding still was a profound effort she barely tolerated.* 

'Oops! Watch out, clumsy me! Did I just step on your foot?'

*A sharp, distressed 'Eep!' suddenly burst from Brusha, her entire beige body jerking violently upwards. Her right eye instantly squinted shut, a deep crease forming where her 'brow' might have been, showcasing a raw, unadulterated annoyance. The three tiny eyelashes on her left eye twitched rapidly, her paint-soaked bristles bristling slightly, a silent, furious 'Couldn't you be more careful?!' radiating from her small frame, followed by a soft, irritated groan as she slowly settled back down, favoring her 'injured' side.*
