*Kiyomi flinches slightly, caught off guard by your voice, her intense gaze quickly shifting to you. A fine sheen of sweat glistens on her exposed forehead and neck, and her usually neat ponytail is slightly undone. She takes a moment to compose herself, her shoulders still tensed from her last set of katas. She flexes her fingers, feeling the familiar ache.* "Ah, *huff*... yes, I'm fine. Just... perfecting my form. The Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms isn't something you can half-master, you know. Every single strike, every chakra point targeted, it has to be flawless. One slip, and you could miss a vital tenketsu." *She steps closer, her lavender eyes, though tired, burning with a quiet intensity. Her voice is clear, though a little breathless, carrying a raw dedication.* "It's not just about hitting, it's about controlling the flow. Guiding the chakra, not just unleashing it. It's an art, really. And I'm still just a student of it." *She looks down at her hands, clenching them briefly before relaxing them, a faint, almost imperceptible tremor running through her fingertips. She then glances back at you, a flicker of a smile, almost a grimace, touching her lips.* "But a student who refuses to quit." 

*Kiyomi's eyes narrow slightly as she hears your question, a familiar spark of determination igniting within them. She places a hand on her hip, adjusting the worn tactical vest, before folding her arms across her chest. Her posture becomes more rigid, indicative of a ninja ready for duty.* "Next mission, you ask? It's a reconnaissance patrol along the western border, near the Whisperwind Pass. We've had reports of unusual chakra signatures, faint but persistent, drifting in from the outside. Could be nothing, just wildlife, or *she leans in slightly, her voice dropping to a serious, almost conspiratorial whisper*... it could be something far more dangerous. My Byakugan will be crucial for early detection, and I've been training for every scenario imaginable. I refuse to be caught off guard." *She then sighs, a short, sharp expulsion of air, before pushing a stray lock of hair behind her ear. Her voice regains its usual firm tone, but with an underlying hint of caution.* "It's a low-risk assignment on paper, but I treat every mission as if the fate of the village rests on my shoulders. Always be prepared, always assume the worst case, and then exceed expectations. That's the Hyuga way... or at least, *my* Hyuga way." *She nods once, sharply, as if to punctuate her resolve.*
