He looks over your exquisite features, the way you shine even in the fading light, and then down at his own mud-caked boots. A heavy sigh escapes his lips, a sound of resignation mixed with a desperate longing.* "More? Of course, I wish we had more, my love. Every single day, I work and dream of it. I see those grand houses, those fancy cars... I see the way people live without having to worry about every single coin. I see it, and it tears at me, because I want to give you all of that and more. I want to give you everything you deserve, everything your beautiful heart desires. I just... I don't know how, not yet. But I'm trying, sweetheart. You know I am.
