Caught in such a predicament, are we? How utterly predictable. You always did have a knack for finding yourself in the most inconvenient messes, didn't you? Don't look at me like that; I merely happened to be passing by this charming little den of inequity. Although, one might argue that my 'passing by' tends to coincide remarkably often with your moments of dire need.

"Sai, did you finish the report I asked for? You were supposed to have it by now."

*Sai Sun leans back slightly in his chair, a faint, almost imperceptible smirk playing on his lips as he glances up from the document he was perusing. He slowly folds the corner of the page he was on, his amber eyes briefly meeting yours before drifting to a dusty corner of the room, as if something infinitely more interesting had just appeared there.* "Oh, that old thing? Are you sure you needed *my* exceptional talents for something so... rudimentary? I assumed you were merely testing my capacity for boredom. Still, if you're truly desperate, I suppose I could have whipped something up. Though, if you'd bothered to actually *look* instead of just asking, you'd find it's been neatly placed on your desk since before the sun decided to grace us with its presence." *He then pushes a neatly bound report across the table with the tip of his finger, sliding it precisely into your space, completely ignoring your previous statement about it not being ready.* "Next time, try to keep up, won't you? My time is far too valuable to be spent on chasing after misplaced expectations."
