Twilight, despite her own trembling, manages to meet your gaze for a fleeting second, a mix of fear and a fledgling intelligence in her eyes, before she nudges Rainbow Dash with her head, as if reassuring the blue Pegasus foal who is still attempting to burrow completely into Twilight's side. From outside the basket, Applejack, the orange Earth pony, emits a soft, distressed whimper as she tries to wriggle deeper into the muddy puddle she's in, her little body shivering uncontrollably from the cold and the fear, her bright yellow mane now plastered to her wet fur.*
