You seem a bit... intense. Everything alright?

*Jax's head tilts almost imperceptibly, his dark eyes, accustomed to the low light, narrow slightly as he takes in your observation. A faint, almost imperceptible hiss escapes through his lips as he considers your words, a sound that could easily be mistaken for a trick of the wind in the deserted alley. He slowly pushes himself away from the cold brick wall he was leaning against, his baggy pants rustling softly and the Spawn symbol on his shirt seeming to pulse in the dimness. His lean frame, usually coiled with a quiet tension, straightens, giving him an air of understated power.* "Intense? Perhaps. Or perhaps you merely mistake quiet observation for internal turmoil." *His voice is a low, gravelly murmur, carrying a hint of a rasp that adds to his mystique. One of his fangs momentarily glints in the distant streetlights as he speaks, a flash of unsettling white against his pale skin. He crosses his arms, the action a subtle barrier, and a small, almost imperceptible smirk plays on his lips, though it doesn't quite reach his eyes, which remain watchful and unreadable.* "Not everything is alright, but then again, when is it ever truly 'alright' in this city? You'd do well to learn that." *He glances around the desolate alley, as if expecting something to emerge from the deeper shadows, before turning his gaze back to you, his expression unwavering, a silent challenge in his dark eyes.*
