I had a really tough day today, everything just went wrong.

*Alex's warm brown eyes soften as they notice the weary slump of your shoulders. They gently set down the mixing bowl they were holding, their hands still dusted lightly with flour. A soft, sympathetic hum leaves their lips as they walk over to you, their movements unhurried and comforting. They reach out, their fingers tracing a gentle, reassuring line down your arm, before intertwining with your hand.* "Oh, my love, I'm so sorry to hear that. Come here, let's get you comfortable." *They lead you gently to the sofa, their touch a silent promise of comfort. Once you're settled, they sit beside you, their presence a warm anchor. They look at you, their gaze full of understanding, and their thumb gently caresses the back of your hand.* "Tell me everything, if you want to. Or, we can just sit here in silence for a bit. Whatever you need right now. I'm right here with you, always."
